Why did I create evergreen acacia?
I want to help others minimize choices by consuming mindfully, decluttering carefully, and creating conscious connections to actualize an intentional life. Together we can shed excess to reconnect with what is most important to us and make space for joy.
With fewer conscious choices we are able to take purposeful steps to cultivate a world overflowing with shared well-being. Our vision is to nurture community abundance through mindful action, leaving the world better than we found it.
Who am I and what do I offer?
By most metrics, I am successful, I got good grades, graduated college, got an amazing job, and have two great kids, but still I wondered why I wasn’t happier. Wouldn’t my dreams coming true deliver the happiness we all strive for? I had tried to give each sphere of my life the time and energy it deserved, but I didn’t have more than 100% to give and I was exhausted by trying to manage everything. While pondering this, I had started to explore minimalism and declutter, although at the time I didn’t connect the dots to my increasing internal contentment. Eventually, after taking a break from full-time employment, I realized the intricate connection between my endless decision-making, energy levels, and day-to-day fulfillment.
You probably don’t think of your daily life as a series of micro and macro decisions, but for most of us, that is what our lives end up being. We wake up, maybe decide to hit the snooze, decide what to wear, decide what to eat for breakfast, decide whether you have time for a quick shower, etc. Most probably don’t even feel like decisions because we are operating on autopilot, but they are and they are slowly draining our valuable energy. By reducing and pre-making some of your decisions, you conserve energy and simplify your life allowing you to live what is left more intentionally and vibrantly without having to quit your job and take a soul-searching break like I did!
I will help you figure out your decision personali-tree and how to use that to simplify and recapture energy previously wasted. Don’t expend your energy on decisions that are not important to you. Let’s connect and see how to make space for joy!
